Leave before panic. Return before the bark.

SettleCue is an unbuilt product concept for gradual alone-time practice. The proposed beta would combine observation, a threshold signal, a return cue and next-session pacing in one workflow.

Proposed beta workflow

Calm observation → threshold signal → session end cue → next-session pacing

This map describes the concept under validation, not available functionality. A future beta would still require the owner to judge context and return to their dog.

Observe

Calm observation

A phone or camera would show the dog during a short practice absence.

Notice

Threshold signal

The concept would flag observable signs such as barking, whining or pacing. It could not identify every sign of stress.

Respond

Session end cue

A cue would tell the owner to end the practice absence and return before continuing.

Adjust

Next-session pacing

The next practice target would be proposed from the prior observation, with the owner retaining control.

Owner remains in the loop. A proposed cue would support—not replace—human judgement.

Not a diagnostic system. The workflow is intended for training support, not veterinary assessment.

For renters, a training miss can become a housing problem.

A note from a neighbour or property manager changes the stakes. Adding alone-time from a fixed schedule can feel reckless when the owner does not know whether the dog stayed below threshold.

SettleCue’s proposition is narrower: help the owner notice a meaningful change, end the practice session and make the next target more cautious. Whether that proposition is useful enough to build is what the reservation tests.

A proposed founding rate, if SettleCue gets built.

$29/month

No charge today. A reservation would place you on the founding waitlist and signal that you intend to consider SettleCue at $29/month when a beta is ready.

It is not a purchase. Beta timing, final scope, availability and public pricing are not set. You would receive the terms before agreeing to any future charge.

Questions worth answering before you signal intent.

Can I use SettleCue today?

No. SettleCue is an unbuilt concept in product validation. There is no app, camera analysis or beta currently available.

Will this reserve a place?

Yes. Submitting the form adds your name and email to the SettleCue founding waitlist. It records interest only: there is no card, charge, binding purchase or guaranteed beta place.

How would stress be flagged?

The proposal is to flag some observable signals, such as barking, whining or pacing. No system can infer every relevant sign or context from a camera, so the owner would remain responsible for judgement and action.

Does this replace professional help?

No. The concept is a training support tool, not diagnosis, treatment or veterinary advice. For severe separation anxiety, work with a veterinarian or qualified behaviourist.

Are outcomes guaranteed?

No. Training progress, noise levels and housing outcomes vary. SettleCue would not guarantee any result.

What does $29/month mean?

It is the proposed founding price being tested. There is no charge today, and you would see the actual offer and terms before choosing whether to join a future beta.

Would you reserve at $29/month?
